Homemade Slice and Bake Oatmeal Cookies

2 Tassebutter or margarine
2 Tassesugar granulated
2 Tassebrown sugar packed

2 Teelöffelvanilla extract
4 Tasseflour unbleached
5 Tasserolled oats
1 Teelöffelsalt
2 TeelöffelBaking soda
2 Teelöffelbaking powder
3/4 Tassenuts chopped
1 TasseRaisins -- or up to 2 c

Cut four 14" x 12" pieces of waxed paper or plastic wrap. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream butter or margarine with the granulated and brown sugars until smooth. Beat in vanilla extract and eggs until light and fluffy. In a medium bowl, combine flour, oats, salt and baking soda and baking powder. Stir flour mixture int
