Casera Sauce (Salsa Casera)
Zutaten für 8 Portionen	Menge anpassen
die Zutaten:
2 mittel	Tomatoes finely chopped
1 mittel	onion finely chopped
1	Clove (small) garlic; finely chopped
1	Canned Jalapeno pepper; seeded
1 Esslöffel	Finely snipped cilantro
1 Esslöffel	lemon juice
1 1/2 Teelöffel	vegetable oil
1/2 Teelöffel	oregano dried leaves
1/2 Teelöffel	Jalapeno pepper liquid
die Zubereitung:
Mix all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate in glass or plastic container. Refrigerate no longer than 7 days. Yield: about 2 cups of sauce. My cookbook has a note in there stating that a bottled tomato and yellow chili sauce can be substituted in recipes calling for Casera Sauce.
