1 mittel | Onion chopped |
2 Tasse | potato diced |
2 Tasse | water |
1 mittel | green pepper diced |
1/2 Tasse | celery chopped |
1 Teelöffel | salt |
1 | Bayleaf |
2 Tasse | milk divided |
1/4 Tasse | all-purpose flour |
2 Tasse | corn fresh |
1/2 Tasse | Half-and-half |
Saute pork in a large Dutch oven until crisp; add onion and saute until tender; add diced potato, water, green pepper, celery, salt and bay leaf; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender; combine 1/4 cup milk and flour, stirring well; add to potato mixture; stir in remaining milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened; add corn and half and half; cook, stirring constantly, until thoroughly heated through; remove and discard bay leaf. Makes 8
