In a large pot......cook bacon until crisp. Remove, drain on paper towels and set aside. Saute onion in bacon drippings until soft. Add potatoes water salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 12-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add corn and milk; heat throughly. Garnish with bacon. About 9 cups. Note; You can use chicken broth instead of milk if you prefer.
