1 2/3 Tasse | All-purpose* flour |
1 Tasse | Packed brown sugar or, Granulated sugar |
1 Teelöffel | Baking soda |
1/2 Teelöffel | salt |
1 Tasse | water |
1/3 Tasse | vegetable oil |
1/2 Teelöffel | Maple flavoring |
1 Teelöffel | vinegar |
1/2 Tasse | nuts chopped |
Instructions:
*do not use self-rising flour In this recipe.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt and nuts with fork in ungreased square pan, 8 X 8 X 2 inches. Stir in remaining ingredients.Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. 9 Servings; 275 Calories Per Serving.To Microwave: Mix batter in ungreased round microwavable dish, 8 X 1-1/2 inches. Elevate dish on inverted microwavable pie plate in microwave oven. Microwave uncovered on medium (50%) 15 to 17 minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn every 5 minutes, until top springs back when touched lightly. (Top may appear wet but will continue cooking as cake stands.) Let stand on flat, heatproof surface (not wire rack); cool.
