1/2 Tasse | Olive or salad oil, (peanut oil Oriental theme |
2 Esslöffel | white wine vinegar |
1/2 Teelöffel | mustard dry |
1/4 Teelöffel | paprika |
1 Esslöffel | sugar |
1 Teelöffel | Salt, Dash freshly ground pepper |
1 | cloves garlic minced |
1 Esslöffel | soy sauce |
16 x ca. 30 g | Can fancy mixed Chinese veg, drained |
3 Tasse | cabbage shredded |
1/2 Tasse | green onions sliced |
2 mittel | Tomatoes, cut in wedges |
Instructions:
Combine oil, vinegar and seasonings. Mix well. Chill. Cover mixed vegetables and cabbage with ice water; let stand for 30 minutes. Drain well. Place in salad bowl; add green onions and tomatoes (and meat, if you're using it). Toss lightly. Serve immediately. Serves 6.
This makes slightly more dressing than is necessary, so don't pour all the dressing in at once or the salad might become soggy. Add the dressing gradually until the ingredients are coated but not drenched. The leftover dressing keeps well.
