Press ground beef (seasoned as you like) into bottom of a 9x9 glass baking dish (or whatever you have that is microwave safe). Cook on High for 6 minutes. Drain off excess grease.

Spread soup on top of beef. Top with a single layer of tater tots (buy the store brand, they're cheaper) and cook 6 minutes in microwave. If your microwave doesn't have a rotating platform, you'll want to turn the dish every couple of minutes so it will cook evenly.

Additional seasonings, onions, herbs, pepper, etc. May be added to the

ground beef. A layer of vegetables may also be added after step 1.
