Bake pie crust in a pre-heated 350 deg F oven 10 minutes. Mix sugar and flour by hand in a bowl. Whip eggs and butter in a seperate bowl, then add to sugar mixture and beat until all ingredients are incorporated. Batter should be smooth and shiny. Reduce oven temperature to 275 deg F. Add whiskey to batter and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell; cook 15 minutes. Increase temperature to 300 deg F and cook 30 minutes. When done, the pie should be golden brown, edges should be puffy and the center slightly soft. Let cool 1 hour before cutting.
