Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl, combine margarine, 1/2 cup powered sugar, vanilla extract, flour, and walnuts. Shape into 1" balls. Place on unprepared baking sheets. Bake in upper third oven for 10 minutes or until firm but not brown. Gently roll in remaining powdered.
