1 3/4 | Cup whole wheat flour (I use white ok) |
1 Teelöffel | Baking soda |
1/2 Teelöffel | salt |
1/3 Tasse | oil |
1/2 Tasse | Honey (I use sugar with good results - brown most times) |
2 | eggs beaten |
1 Tasse | Mashed bananas (3 medium) |
1/4 Tasse | water hot |
1/2 Tasse | Chopped pecans or other nuts (I usually leave out) |
(Whole foods for the whole Family)
Sift dry ingredients together. Cream oil and honey in large bowl. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in bananas. Add dry ingredients alternately with hot water, mixing well after each addition. Fold in pecans. Pour into a greased 5x9-inch loaf pan. Bake at 325F for 55 to 60 minutes. Invert onto wire rack to cool completely before slicing. Freezes well. Yield: 12 servings.
