Also, for Red Friday, here is a recipe for meat loaf with a catsup-based sauce, from the Mennonite Community Cookbook with my modifications. It's my favorite meat loaf!
Mix all ingredients, or for quick method, place onion, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and 1 1/2-2 slices of bread, broken up, in blender container and blend until just mixed, then add to hamburger. I've found the best mixing method is with the hands! Place in 8 X 4 inch loaf pan or if you don't like the grease (like me), form into a loaf on a broiler pan. Top with Sweet-sour topping and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Sweet-sour topping: Mix well.
