1 | 4-5 pound beef brisket |
2 | onions quartered |
2 | cloves garlic |
4 | bay leaves |
10 | cloves whole |
1 Esslöffel | black peppercorns |
1 Esslöffel | Corriander seeds |
My mom sent me this recipe for pastrami, and if you like pastrami you might want to give it a try. I forgot to put the shery in on time, but other than that it was great. Brisket is only .99 here, and Un Chi and Billy like it so life is good for me. Hope all is well.
Combine all-cover with water and simmer 3-4 hours.
After simmering, pour off liquid, sprinkle with liquid smoke. Bake @ 350 for 30 minutes.
*** For more tender meat, some dry Sherry, small amount of sugar, and 2 T. Vinegar may be added to the water.
