Heat oil and Butter in a small saucepan. Add garlic; cook 1 minute. Remve from heat. Stir in the basil, oregano and black pepper
Preheat oven to 400'. Brush bread lightly with oil-herb mixture. Place bread slices directly on oven rack.
Bake bread 6 minutes, until golden and toasted. Cut each slice of bread diagonally into 2 triangles. Serve half the triangle toasts with Wednesday's dinner and refrigerate the other half for Friday's dinner. Reheat to serve.
