1 Tasse | milk |
1/2 Tasse | Butter melted |
1 Esslöffel | vanilla optional |
2 Tasse | flour |
1/2 Teelöffel | salt |
1 Esslöffel | baking powder |
2 Teelöffel | sugar |
1. Beat whole eggs in a bowl until thick.
2. Beat in milk and melted butter.
3. Combine remaining ingredients. Sift into egg mixture and beat well. 4. Bake and serve with desired topping. Variations: Quick Waffles Plus. A few additions to the recipe transform Quick Waffles in really unique delicacies. Cinnamon-Apple: Make Quick Waffle batter. Add 1 apple peeled and shredded, 1 tsp. Vanilla, 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon. Coconut: Make Quick Waffle batter. Add 1 cup finely chopped coconut, 1 tsp. Almond extract. Au Chocolate: Make Quick Waffle batter. Add 1 ounce of melted unsweetened chocolate, 1 Tbsp. Sugar. You may also add 2 Tbsp. Finely chopped walnuts or pecans.
1. Do not over-mix batter. Beating egg whites separately and folding them into the batter will create a lighter, crisper waffle. 2. Completely bake waffles before removing from the unit. 3. Don't open the waffle maker during the first minute of baking or the waffle will separate. 4.
