1 | 1" thick fully cooked h slice (about 2 pounds) |
1/4 Teelöffel | sauce hot |
24 | cloves whole |
3 mittel | Cooking apples; unpeeled, cored and cut into 1/2" rings |
2 Tasse | water |
1 Tasse | Red cinnamon candies |
1/2 Tasse | sugar |
surface of ham, and place in a lightly greased 13" x 9" x 2" baking dish. Bake at 325F for 25 minutes or until meat thermometer registers 140F. Transfer to a serving platter; serve with Cinnamon Apple Rings. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
Cinnamon Apple Rings:
large skillet; bring to a boil, stirring until candies dissolve. Add apple rings; reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or just until apple rings are tender, turning several times. : Remove apple rings from skillet. Add sugar to skillet, and bring to a boil; boil 3 minutes.
Pour syrup over apple rings, turning to glaze both sides. Cool slightly. Yield: 8 servings.
