Raw egg whites contain a protein called avidin that impairs the absorption of vitamin B. cooking eggs will inactivate avidin, making them more nutritious and easier to digest.
It is not advisable to add raw eggs to your pet's diet because they have been known to cause salmonella poisoning in animals. We recommend that you either cook eggs or p our boiling water over eggs in their shells before you feed them to your pet, this should kill any salmonella bacteria. The avidin in the egg will be inactivated by this process, and should help with the digestion and absorption of vitamin B.
