1 | To 1 1/4 pounds ground beef |
1/4 Tasse | Sweet pickle relish, plus more for garnish |
1/4 Tasse | bread crumbs dried |
2 Esslöffel | ketchup |
2 Teelöffel | Yellow mustard, plus more for garnish |
8 | Hot dog buns |
If you're using wooden skewers, soak them in water 15 to 20 minutes. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, 1/4 cup relish, bread crumbs, ketchup, and 2 teaspoons mustard; mix well.
Divide the mixture into 8 equal amounts and shape each one into a "hot dog" about 6 inches long. Insert a skewer lengthwise through the center of each "hot dog". Cover and refrigerate about 30 minutes or freeze 10 minutes to help them keep their shape during grilling.
Place skewers across the grill rack and grill 3 minutes. Turn and grill 5 to 9 more minutes, or until no longer pink inside, turning occasionally. Remove the skewers.
