Cook noodles in pan of boiling water until just done (soft but firm), set aside. Blanch broccoli flowerets in boiling water for one minute, rinse with cold water, set aside. Prepare sauce by whisking or blending peanut butter, rice vinegar, soy sauce, warm water, sesame oil, garlic cloves, five-spice powder, fresh basil together. In a large bowl toss noodles, sauce and vegetables, garnish with broccoli flowerets. May be served steaming hot as a side dish or chilled and served as a light, refreshing, summer salad.
Special Notes: If you like a little "heat", then add one of our diminutive fresh Hawaiian Red Peppers, minced, I don't recommend more than one! Another fun garnish you might like to use are those packaged crispy snack foods called "Won Ton Chips" found in all Hawaiian stores were snack foods are sold.
