9 Tasse | all-purpose flour Sifted |
1 Esslöffel | salt |
2 Tasse | Crisco shortening |
3 Esslöffel | baking powder |
1/4 Tasse | sugar |
3 Tasse | Mix |
2/3 Tasse | milk |
3 Tasse | Mix |
1 Tasse | milk |
2 | eggs |
3 Tasse | Mix |
2/3 Tasse | milk |
1/2 Tasse | American cheese grated |
1 Teelöffel | paprika |
3 Tasse | Mix |
1 Tasse | milk |
1 | egg |
2 Esslöffel | sugar |
Stir baking powder, salt & sugar into flour. Sift together 3 times into large mixing bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender until mix is consistency of cornmeal. Store in a tightly covered container at room temperature. To measure mix, pile it lightly into a standard cup & level off with a spatula. Biscuits; Stir ingredients & roll as for other biscuits. Bake at 450 until done. Pancakes: Stir ingredients together & grill as usual. Cheese Biscuits: Mix ingredients, bake as for biscuits. Muffins: Mix & bake at 425.
