Cook cauliflower 20 minutes, until just tender. In greased 2-quart casserole combine tomatoes, onion, oregano, salt and pepper. Cover with cauliflower. Mix cheese and crumbs; sprinkle over cauliflower. Bake in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Makes 6 to 7 servings.
I've been making this recipe since 1960. The oregano steps up the bland taste of the cauliflower.
