1 Bund | green onions chopped |
2 | cloves garlic crushed |
1/2 x ca. 450 g | Mushroom, cleaned & Sliced |
16 x ca. 30 g | Stewed tomatoes, * see Note |
1/4 Tasse | Green chiles, canned |
1 Teelöffel | chilli powder |
1 Teelöffel | Cajun spice mix, see Directions |
1/4 Tasse | Fresh cilantro sprigs, Chopped |
2 Prise | tabasco sauce |
4 Tasse | Brown rice, cooked, ** see |
and mushrooms in a small amount of water for 5 to 10 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients (except for the rice) and mix well. Stir in the cooked rice, heat through, and serve.
Cajun spice mix, combine 3 tablespoons paprika, 2 teaspoons onion powder, 2 teaspoons ground black pepper, 2 teaspoons ground white pepper, 2 teaspoons cayenne, 1 teaspoon ground dried oregano, 1 teaspoon ground dried thyme, and 1/2 teaspoon celery seed. Mix together and store in a tightly covered container. Makes about 1/3 cup.
precooked, frozen shrimp. Tasted just like jambalaya!! Also used Lusianne's Cajun Spice.
