Heat oven to 350 degrees, grease and flour two 9" cake pans In large bowl combine cake mix, sour cream, water, oil and eggs at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 min. On highest speed. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake for 35 - 45 min. Or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 min. Remove from pans. Cool completely. Fill and frost cake with icing.
