8 x ca. 30 g | Tofu or tempeh; steamed for 10 minutes and cooled |
1 Esslöffel | oil |
1/2 Tasse | brown rice |
1 1/2 Tasse | water |
2 Esslöffel | sesame seeds |
1/4 Tasse | Onions sliced |
1/2 Tasse | Celery sliced |
4 | spinach leaves shredded |
1 | egg |
4 Teelöffel | Tamari |
1/4 Tasse | green onions chopped |
Cut tofu into julienned strips. Simmer for 45 minutes until liquid is absorbed. Heat oil in wok or skillet. Add rice and water. Simmer for 45 minutes until: liquid is absorbed. Add sesame seeds & brown lightly. Add & brown the tofu/tempeh. Stir in onions, celery and spinach. Saute a few minutes, add the cooked rice. For extra protein you can make well in center of pan and drop in egg. Cook a little, then mix egg with rice and vegetables. Mix all ingredients together. Add tamari. Sprinkle green onions on top to serve.
