Cream butter & sugar well; add beaten eggs, one spoonful at a time, mixing until smooth after each addition. Melt chocolate over hot water & cool. Stir chocolate into egg mixture & mix well. Add flavoring & pour into pie shell. Top with whipped cream & chill 12 hours before serving.
