2 Tasse | Tart apples; sliced, pared |
1 Esslöffel | lemon juice |
1 Dose | (8 3/4 oz) crushed pineapple, drained, (2c) |
1 x ca. 450 g | Whole cranberry sauce; canned |
1 Tasse | Quick-cooking rolled oats |
3/4 Tasse | brown sugar |
1/2 Tasse | flour all purpose, sifted |
1/2 Teelöffel | cinnamon |
1 Prise | salt |
1/3 Tasse | butter or margarine |
This is in honor of our fearless leader. <hugs> Mary :) I like the idea of using a combination of apple, pineapple, and cranberry sauce. Source: America's Favorite Recipes from Better Homes and Gardens.
Toss apple slices with lemon juice; place in 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish. Spoon pineapple evenly over apples, then cover with cranberry sauce. For topping, mix next 5 ingredients; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake 350 F, 30 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm.
