In a saucepan over med. Heat, saute the onions until tender, about 5 mins. Add rice; cook for 8-10 mins. Add broth, sage, thyme, and salt. Pour into an ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 70-80 mins. Or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
