Bring 1 quart of the water to a boil, add tea and remove from heat. Let steep for 4 minutes. Steeping time can vary depending on how strong you like you tea but I have found anything over 5 minutes and it starts to get bitter. Strain thru a strainer.
Do Not Press The Tea To Extract - pressing will make it bItter also. I just dump the tea and water thru the strainer, shake it a time or two and throw the tea out.
Add the sugar, more of less can be used depending on how sweet you like you tea, and stir till the sugar is dissolved. Add the remaining quart of water and leave on the counter to cool. Do Not place directly in the refirgerator as that will make it cloud
I have found that this make the best Iced Tea around and you don't have to try and dissolve sugar in cold water, which never seems to work for me.
