Marinated Sirloin Kabobs
Zutaten für 4 Portionen Menge anpassen
die Zutaten:
1/4 TasseLemon-lime carbonated beverage (like 7-up; or sprite)
1/4 Tassesherry dry
1/4 Tassesoy sauce
3 Esslöffelsugar
3 Esslöffelwhite vinegar
1/2 Teelöffelgarlic powdered
1/4 Teelöffelsalt
1/4 Teelöffelpepper
2 x ca. 450 gSirloin steak; cut into 1" cubes
2 TasseCherry tomatoes
2 mittelCarrots; cut into eighths
1/2 x ca. 450 gFresh mushroom caps
2 mittelSize green peppers; cut into 1" pieces
1 kleinPineapple; cut into 1" pieces

Hi everyone!! It's summer (?!) in the United States, so here's one of my favorite grill recipes. It comes from America's Best Recipes (Southern Living). Enjoy!

Combine first 8 ingredients in a large shallow bowl. Add beef cubes, cover and marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove beef cubes from marinade, reserving marinade. Alternately thread beef cubes, tomatoes, onions, mushroom caps, green pepper and pineapple onto skewers. Grill, covered, over medium-hot coals (350 degrees to 400 degrees) 10-12 minutes or to desired degree of doneness, turning and basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Makes 4-5 servings.
