1/2 x ca. 450 g | Hot italian sausage |
1 3/4 Tasse | Onion chopped |
1 Tasse | cilantro Fresh, chopped |
2 Teelöffel | Canned chipotle chiles; chopped |
10 x ca. 30 g | Monterey jack cheese; grated |
12 klein | Flour tortillas |
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Remove casings from the sausage and saute with the onion in a large skillet, breaking up the sausage into small pieces with the back of a spoon. Cook about 10 minutes.
3. Mix in 1/2 cup cilantro and 1 teaspoon chipotle chiles.
4. Transfer mixture to a 9 inch baking dish.
5. Combine remaining cilantro, grated cheese and remaining chipotles in a medium bowl.
6. Sprinkle cheese mixture over sausage mixture and bake for 10-15 minutes
quick and easy to make and very tasty. Roll up in warm flour tortillas with sour cream and salsa. A nice salad with a tangy vinagrette rounds this out well, although we often serve cilantro chile mashed potatoes
