1 Packung | Spinach frozen, chopped |
1 x ca. 450 g | ground beef |
1/2 Tasse | onion chopped |
1 | cloves garlic minced |
1 Esslöffel | oil |
1 Dose | Spaghetti sauce with mushrooms |
1 Dose | tomato paste |
1 Dose | tomato sauce |
1/2 Teelöffel | salt |
1/4 Teelöffel | pepper |
2 Tasse | Raw macaroni |
1/2 Tasse | Soft bread |
2 | Eggs well beaten |
1 Tasse | Liquid |
1/4 Tasse | salad oil |
Cook spinach as directed on package, drain liquid & add enough water to make 1 cup (save liquid). Brown beef with onion & garlic in 1 Tbs oil. Add spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt & pepper to meat mixture & simmer 10 minutes. Boil macaroni just until tender; drain & combine with bread, eggs, reserved liquid & oil plus the spinach. Spread in a 9x13-inch baking pan & cover with meat mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
