1 x ca. 450 g | ground beef |
1 Esslöffel | chilli powder |
10 Milliliter | Garlic minced |
1/2 Teelöffel | salt |
1/2 Tasse | onion chopped |
3 Tasse | Prepared white sauce |
1/2 Teelöffel | sage ground |
1/2 Teelöffel | oregano |
1/2 Teelöffel | ground cumin |
2 Esslöffel | Chopped mild green chiles |
2 Tasse | cheddar cheese grated |
2 | Tomatoes chopped |
12 | White Flour tortillas |
1/2 | Head iceberg lettuce, shred ded |
Brown ground beef and drain. Add chili powder, garlic, salt and onion. Combine white sauce (thick is good - typist's note), sage, oregano, cumin, and chiles.
Simmer over very low heat until warm. Reserve 1 cup sauce and 1 cup grated cheese. Mix remaining sauce and cheese with meat, lettuce and tomatoes. Place this mixture in the tortillas, roll and place seam side down in a flat ungreased baking sheet. Top with reserved sauce and cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350F for 15 minutes.
