Glace cherries, halved (do not use maraschino cherries)

Combine sugar, e. Milk and butter in large heavy saucepan. Cook and stir over med. Heat until mixture boils vigorously. Boil 4 to 5 min, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low. Add white chocolate; stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows; stir until marshmallows melt. Stir in cherries. Pour into 8-inch foil-lined square cake pan. Chill until set. Store in refrigerator. Makes about sixty-four 1-inch squares.
