We always have McFabulous Biscuits. Each recipe makes 6 biscuits, so make enough batches to serve the number of guests. We don't double this recipe. We make additional biscuits by fixing more batches.
Whisk together the sugar, sour cream and soda. Add the bisquick, stirring with a wooden spoon. Knead the dough about a dozen times on a floured bread board. Add flour, if needed, to make a nice smooth ball. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a patty about 1" thick. Using a 9" round greased cake pan, place five biscuits around the edge and put the sixth in the middle. Brush the tops with melted butter and bake at 450F until tippled in size and golden brown, about 16-18 minutes.
