With barbecue season upon us (I use the gas grill all winter, too), I thought this marinade recipe would be appropriate. I've had it for years, and think I got it from Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
Saute 2 cloves minced garlic in a little oil. Remove garlic from pan and add remaining ingredients.
I usually use one of the large, flat Tupperware containers, or a cake pan. Place the steak in the container and pour the marinade over it. Turn occasionally. You can also leave it in the marinade overnight. Any cut of beef steak works fine with this, as it tenderizes as it marinates.
