Place pear slices in an ungreased 2-cup baking dish. Dot with butter; sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until tender. Yield: 1 serving. Editor's Note: This recipe may be prepared in a microwave oven; cover and cook on high for 3-4 minutes (using a 700-watt microwave) or until pear is tender.
