Cream the butter and sugar together untl light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time beating well. Sif tth eflour, bicarbonate of soda, salt and cinnamon. Sitr until thoroughly combined. Stir in the wholehweat flour.
Mash the bananas with a fork then stir inot hte mixture and add the vanilla and pecans. Pour themoxture into a prepared loaf tin and smooth the top until level. Bake at 180 °C/350F/gas mark 4 unitl a skewer come sout clean 50-60 mintues, coolon a wire rack.
