Preheat the oven to 250 c. Wrap a slice of Prosciutto around each Fig, secure with a toothpick and put in an ovenproof dish.
Melt the butter, cream and Gorgonzola over low heat. Pour over the Figs and cover loosely foil. Cook in the oven for 7 minutes. Discard the foil, baste the figs with the sauce and return to the oven for 1-2 minutes. Remove the toothpicks and serve the figs with some of the sauce. Serves 4.
