1 Tasse | Julienned carrots |
1 Tasse | green onions sliced |
2 Tasse | Chopped apples; cored and unpeeled |
3 Tasse | brown rice Cooked |
1/2 Tasse | Seeded raisins |
1 Esslöffel | sesame seeds |
1/2 Teelöffel | salt |
Directions: Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir carrots 3 to 5 minutes until tender-crisp. Add onions and apples; cook 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in rice, raisings, sesame seeds and salt. Cook, stirring, 1 to 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
Alternative: Microwave Oven Instructions Combine carrots and oil in 2-quart microproof baking dish. Cook on High 2 to 3 minutes or until tender crisp. Add onions and apples; continue cooking on High 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in rice, raisins, sesame seeds and salt. Cover with wax paper and cook on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
