3 klein | Acorn squash; halved, seeded |
1/2 Tasse | celery chopped |
1/4 Tasse | onion chopped |
2 Esslöffel | butter or margarine |
1 Dose | Spam luncheon meat - (12 oz); chopped |
1 1/2 Tasse | Frozen cubed hash browns; thawed |
1/2 Tasse | apple chopped |
1/4 Tasse | maple syrup |
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place squash, cut side up, in a buttered 13- by 9-inch baking pan.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, saute celery and onion in butter or margarine until tender. Stir in Spam and potatoes. Cook, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are browned. Stir in apple and syrup. Spoon 1/2 cup Spam mixture into each squash half. Cover. Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
