1 1/2 x ca. 450 g | Beef top round steak (1/2" thick), cut into serving sized pieces |
4 Tasse | onions sliced |
2 | Jars (4.5 oz) Green Giant whole mushrooms, drained |
1 Dose | (10 1/2 oz) condensed beef broth |
1/4 Teelöffel | salt |
1/8 Teelöffel | pepper |
1/2 Tasse | water |
4 Esslöffel | cornstarch |
The following recipe is definitely a Tnt! I got it from Pillsbury "Good For You Dinners" - Sept 96. To my Texas heart, this is good home cookin'!! Serve it over mashed potatoes - umm umm good!!
Heat oven to 325 degrees. In large oven proof baking dish, combine all ingredients except water and cornstarch; mix well. Cover.
Bake for 2 1/2 - 3 hours or until beef is tender.
In small bowl, combine water & cornstarch; stir into beef mixture. Bake an additional 15 minutes or until gravy has thickened.
everything but the beef and the salt & pepper - we Love gravy at our house!!
