When using fresh peaches, sweeten to taste. Combine peaches and lemon juice. In a very large mixing bowl combine milk, whipping cream, sugar, vanilla and almond extract, salt. Add peaches to the mixture; stir in food color, if, desired. Chill. Put into ice cream freezer and churn. Yields 1 gallon.
