8 Scheibe | Bread cubes |
1 1/2 x ca. 450 g | Sausage links |
3/4 x ca. 450 g | Cheddar cheese shredded |
2 1/2 Tasse | milk |
4 | eggs |
3 1/3 Teelöffel | mustard |
1 Dose | mushrooms |
1/4 Tasse | vermouth dry |
1 Dose | Mushroom soup |
Put bread cubes in 9x13 cassrole pan. Cut sausage links into thirds; brown and drain. Place over bread. Add cheese. Beat eggs and add milk and mustard; mix. Pour over bread, sausage, and cheese and mix. Cover. Put in refrigerator overnight. About 1 hour before serving time, mix vermouth, soup and mushrooms. Spoon evenly over top of casserole. Bake at 350F for 1 hour. A small can of sliced ripe olives can be added to the first mixture.
