1/2 Tasse | Margarine (not butter) |
| Yellow cake mix (no pudding) |
3 | eggs |
8 x ca. 30 g | Pkg cream cheese, softened |
1 x ca. 450 g | Box powdered sugar |
1/2 Tasse | coconut flakes |
1/2 Tasse | walnuts or pecans, chopped |
Combine margarine, cake mix and 1 egg. Stir together until dry ingredi= ents
are moistened. Pat mixture into bottom of well-greased 15x10 inch jell= y
roll pan.
Beat remaining eggs lightly, then beat in cream cheese and powdered su= gar.
Stir in coconut and nuts.
Pour over mixture in jelly roll pan, spreading evenly. Bake at 325F fo= r 45
to 50 minutes or until golden brown. Cool pan on wire rack to room temperature. Makes 4 dozen bars. Note: Chocolate cake mix can also be used. Note 2: The name is appropriate because of the speed in which the= y
disappear.
