Put the peppers into the bottle of tequila and allow to steep for at least three days. For 4 margaritas, pour 150ml (0.25 pint) of jalapeno tequila, 30ml (1 fl oz) of Triple Sec and 90ml (3 fl oz) of lime juice into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Stir and strain into glasses over fresh ice cubes.
If desired, first dip the rims of the glasses into lime juice and then into salt.
