Easter Basket Handle: 12 (12") pipe cleaners, 1 1/2 yds of 1" ribbon, T= ape
& Bow. Heat oven to 350. Grease & flour 10" angel food tube pan or 12 c= up
Bundt pan. Prepare cake mix according to pkg directions. Pour batter in= to
prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 40 to 50 mins or until toothpick comes ou= t
clean. Cool upright in pan 20 mins, remove from pan. Cool completely. I= n
small bowl, place coconut & 2 to 3 drops each of food coloring & water; toss with fork until coconut reaches desired color. Place cake on servi= ng
plate. Spread frosting over sides & top of cake making a slight mound o= n
top to form a nest shape. Sprinkle tinted coconut evenly over top of ca= ke;
pat lightly to secure. Fill center evenly with assorted candies. 12 to = servings. To make handle, twist ends of 2 pipe cleaners together; repea= t
with remaining pipe cleaners. Group 5 pairs together & wrap remaining p= air
around to form a bundle. Wrap with ribbon. Secure each end with tape. B= end
to form handle shape Attach bow & insert in cake. *Two 8 or 9" rnd pans= may
be used to make basket cake; follow pkg directions. To make small baske= ts,
follow directions for cupcakes. Decorate as individual baskets. Add a n= ame
card & place at each place setting on dinner table. *green for grass ef= fect
