3 x ca. 450 g | Potatoes |
4 | egg yolks |
| butter |
| Cracker crumbs |
1/2 x ca. 450 g | ground beef |
| salt |
| garlic powdered |
| onions chopped |
| green peppers chopped |
| tomato sauce |
| flour |
Ground Beef: Season gound beef with garlic, salt, onions, peppers and tomato sauce to taste. Saute in skillet until meat is browned.
Potatoes: Boil in water until potatoes are soft enough to mash. Mash together with fork using a little bit of butter.
Take a portion of the potato mixture into the palm of your hand. Scoop out a spoonful of the portion and add a spoonful of ground beef. Cover with another portion of potatoes. Round into a ball. After making all the potatoes, powder them with flour, roll them into a mixture of beaten egg yolks, and roll in cracker crumbs.
Fill a large pan with oil and heat until very hot. (Make oil high enough to cover potatoes). Fry until potatoes are golden brown. Drain out the oil. Cool and serve.
